Hello! I’m excited to join the faculty of Auburn Junior High School and the Catamount team of 9th grade teachers. In my English class, we will integrate reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary in our weekly work so that students can see these as connected rather than discrete components of English education.
I have a B.A. in Journalism with a double minor in English, a M.Ed. in English Language Arts education, and additional graduate coursework in English and education. Prior to teaching English in grades 7-12 for the past eight years, I was a journalist for nearly six years, nearly two of which were with the Montgomery Advertiser.
I have two beautiful daughters-Sarah and Iris, a fantastic husband-Anthony Bath, and a loyal dog-Beo. I love traveling, hiking and camping, teaching, and language.
